For over 56 years, Hamilton has been satisfying customer needs by combining quality materials with skilled workmanship, ensuring the highest level of performance of every precision fluid measuring device we manufacture Hamilton Robotics seeking a "Field Service Specialist" to join our Robotics team, supporting, repairing and maintaining robotic instrumentation. The ideal candidate will work out of their home when not traveling to our clients in Connecticut, New York and Massachusetts Candidate location best suited in CT, MA or NY area. Job Requirements: Responsible for on-site installing, maintaining and repairing of automated pipetting laboratory instruments. Effectively manages assigned territory, including following up on service problem escalations. Responsibilities: •Perform instrument installations on site at customer locations •Must have the ability to program using the user software and service software to test automation. •Troubleshoot and diagnose all Hamilton Robotics Products •Provide direct on site service, maintenance and repair, e-mail/telephone technical support for assigned territory. •Be a member of the Hamilton on call support team on a rotating schedule •Keeps accurate records of service calls •Maintain inventory of service parts, tools and test equipment. •Maintain a neat professional appearance and good hygiene •Follow laboratory safety practices as defined by the Company and/or the customer’s site safety code. •Ability and willingness to maintain a travel schedule and to travel on short notice including international travel (50 – 70% Travel) Required Skills: •Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Engineering or Electronics preferred •Min 2 years laboratory automation and field service experience •Excellent PC skills, including Windows XP, Excel, word processing software •Proven customer service skills •Ability to multitask and work under pressure •Strong organization, communication and follow up skills •Valid drivers license required Must pass drug test, criminal and professional background check See us at www.hamiltoncompany.com or www.hamiltonrobotics.com Requirements Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Engineering or Electronics preferred.
