Branch sales offices are located in France, Germany, and the United Kingdom.

We are the worldwide leader in the design and manufacture of manual, semi-automated and robotic products for precision liquid handling. For over 50 years, Hamilton has been satisfying customer needs by combining quality materials with skilled workmanship, ensuring the highest level of performance of every precision liquid handling devices that we manufacture.

You will provide technical support for Sales customers and peers. Program and validate applications based on customer provided protocols. Offer support to the customer after the sale of a product which will include, programming of specific applications, training at installation, and support for customer technical questions. Make educated decisions based on experience and product knowledge.



ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Write automation programs by interpreting customer supplied procedures.

Troubleshoot and problem solving.

Provide software and basic hardware training.

Create liquid classes and optimize liquid handling performance.

Implement worklisting/LIMS into programs.

Integrate third party devices.

Demonstrate advanced programming skills.

Database interfacing

HSL knowledge and programming skills.

Proficient in use of advanced scheduling concepts.

Recognized as Technical leader and resource.

Work with In House Applications team on FATs and SATs.

Develop and improve training materials.

Consistently contribute to knowledge base Tool Pool

Visit customers as needed for follow-up and retraining.

Train New Hires

Work independently and make decisions based on extensive experience and knowledge.

Travel to customer sites as needed.



Requirements

Must have good planning and customer skills and be able to demonstrate them to an audience.

Must have good written and verbal communication skills.

Must be able to travel internationally and nationally, and have a valid driver’s license in their state of residence.

Must have a good working knowledge of computers.

Ability to work independently.



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Must have a bachelor’s degree in science, preferably in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or other sciences.

Must have 3 years experience in a technical capacity such as research and development or applications.

Experience with large scientific equipment is desired.

Experience with programming languages desired.


Other Requirements:
Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
